Our Imprint

TEUCU is part of your community and we share the same goals and dreams. Like a trustworthy neighbour, we work with you and are actively involved by sponsoring local groups, volunteering and supporting local causes to help our neighbourhood prosper. We believe that our members deserve an opportunity to achieve well being and that working together co-operatively, works for the good of all. Our concern for our community is just one of our Seven Core Principles.

Trust, Loyalty and Compassion remain at the forefront of our day to day activities. We measure our success on improving our members' financial status and strengthening the community as a whole by improving our members overall well being.

Member Wellness

We’re not just concerned about profits. We are interested in the well-being and growth of our community … starting with you. Whether you want to improve your health through exercise or want to relieve some of life’s stresses by just having some fun, your Credit Union offers:

The TEUCU Annual Event Day - Each year, the Credit Union aims to bring together members for a day of adventure. In 2007, the Credit Union sponsored a fun filled day by organizing a bus trip to explore the Niagara Region. Members enjoyed the day shopping, enjoying a lovely lunch, wine tasting, bright lights and friends.

TEUCU Annual Golf Day (In Memory of Terry Godfrey) - Join us at the Whispering Ridge Golf Club to enjoy a day of golf, exercise and fellowship!

Run for Fun - Do you share a passion for running? Join fellow TEUCU members in a run of the Leslie Street Spit, it’s a great way to meet new people and keep yourself active throughout the summer. Beginners are always welcome!

Make sure you check our Events Calendar on a regular basis for upcoming events that may be of interest to you or call our office for more information. We also encourage you to check the Links section of our website and Connect to Health for more useful member wellness facts and ideas.

Member Education

Our members' personal development is important to us. We believe that knowledge and awareness of issues that impact our members is extremely important in order that our members can lead more productive and happy lives.

To encourage our members to pursue higher education and foster an environment for personal growth, we offer the following Grants:

The TEUCU Essential Life Skills Grant - To help prepare our young TEUCU student members for the future. Click here for more information!

The TEUCU mySELF Optimizer Grant - To help any TEUCU members interested in pursuing personal, educational or vocational learning to improve their personal life skills (i.e. self-improvement course, apprentice programs, complete a degree or certificate etc). Click here for more information!

In addition to our grants, we aim to keep our members up to date. We have frequent monthly on-site events and we visit our members at locations where we do not offer a branch. We want to keep you informed about products and services that can be of use to you like Home and Auto Insurance through The Personal. We also have demo days where members have a chance of getting a ‘hands on look’ at some of the features that we offer like Q-trade on-line investing. We publish monthly informational newsletters and frequently update our website to ensure relevant information is always at your fingertips. Our website features a Member Alerts section which informs you about the latest security issues and we also have calculators to help you achieve your goals, whether they would be for savings, loans or even to help you with your home budget Calculators.

We are also aware that not every situation fits in a mould and sometimes we need professional guidance to help us in time of need. As a result we have coordinated our efforts with professionals to bring you Ask an Expert Day. In the past our experts have provided our members advice on matrimonial law, identity theft, estate planning and wealth management matters and all free of charge! Check our Events Calendar often for a complete itinerary of all the events that may be of interest to you. If you want to see what we have done in the past, click here.
